UPMA - VEGETABLE


MIXED VEGETABLE UPMA

Another breakfast menu













THE INGREDIENTS


(Rava/Sooji) - 250 gm
Beans(chopped) - 1 cup
Carrots(chopped) - 1 cup
Onion(chopped) - 1/2 cup
Ginger(chopped) - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 2 stem
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Oil - 50 ml
Salt - As reqd
Water - 200 ml

THE PREPARATION

Fry rava, till very light brown. Keep mixing well to avoid burning

Heat cooking oil in a pan.

Crack some mustard seeds and add curry leaves.

Add chopped beans, carrot, onion and ginger.

Cook for 5 mins, till the beans and carrot get cooked.

Add water and allow it to boil.

Add salt and stir well.

When it starts to boil, add rava. Add more water if required but not too much

Stir well and remove from fire.
